I am very proud to be on the S.A.S.4K. design team and some of my favorite cards to make are cards "from" kids. Generally, when we are making these cards, we focus on cards that can be given to a sick child (and teens) who are children's hospitals - what an awesome cause, right? This weeks challenge is a twist on that. We are making cards that the kids can give to their loved ones. In this case, Father's Day Cards. I know the pride kids can have from giving to their loved ones, something they don't always have that opportunity when they are ill and in the hospital.
As always, we have some amazing sponsors for our challenges. Here are this weeks sponsors.....
- MilkCoffee Stamps - is awarding 5 digital images of the winners choice.
- Bugaboo - is giving 7 digital images of the winners choice.
- Robyn's Fetish - is giving 2 digital images of the winners choice.
What amazing prizes. A huge thanks goes out to our sponsors.
Here is my 1st card - this adorable image is from MilkCoffe Stamps. The sentiment is something I created on the computer but I was just put into words exactly what the image is saying. So cute!!! Since this is a card for a dad I wanted to use darker, manly colors but I still wanted it to be bright and vibrant like a kiddo would choose. Some of the colors look very pink but in reality they are a deep red.
Here is a close up....
The image on this 2nd card is from Bugaboo. Such a super sweet image!!! The paper used on both of these cards is from Little Yellow Bicycle.
Here is another close up for you....
Go here to the S.A.S.4K. blog to see all the gorgeous cards created by the rest of the design team. Now is your chance to play along. Create your father's Day card, link it here on the S.A.S.4K. blog, and you will be entered in a random drawing for a chance to win one of those amazing prizes I listed above. Go here to see the complete rules.
Don't be afraid to take it one step further. You can donate your card to this amazing cause and it will be given to a kiddo who is in a children's hospital so they can give it to their special dad. Go here to see how to do that. They take all themes of cards to be given TO kiddos too.
Thanks for stopping and I hope you play along
