Repeat Impressions DCC - For the Boys

It's a DCC challenge Wednesday at Repeat Impressions.  This weeks challenge was chosen by Karen - For the Boys.

For my card, I used RI image 9118-K Chevy.    Guys cards can be difficult to create but with an awesome image like this, it can be very easy.  The printed paper has that little bit of a swirl to give it some accent and the center panel is matted on black and popped to give it plenty of dimension.

The best part about a challenge is that you get to play along.   Create your on masculine card, link that card to the RI blog and you will be entered into a random drawing for an unmounted sheet of RI images.  Wendy has quite an amazing selection to choose from.  Go here to see the complete rules.

I hope you get a chance to play along.

What If? Wednesday - Sketch A1614

It's April 16th and we are back to having snow here in Central WI.  Sigh! It was mostly melted, everyone was starting to get things done in their yards and we are back to snow.

What better way to forget about the snow than to have a sketch challenge with Repeat Impressions.  As always, Wendy has an awesome sketch for us.

I used 2 Repeat Impressions images on my card.   For the focal point, I used 1320-M, Spring Blossoms.  For the sentiment, I used 1105-E, Thinking of You.

So now it is your turn.  Create your card inspired by this weeks sketch, link that card to the RI blog and you will be entered into a random drawing for an awesome prize - a $25 gift certificate to the Repeat Impressions store.  You can see the complete rules here - at the Repeat Impressions blog

Repeat Impressions DCC - Happy Easter!

It's starting to feel like spring here in Central Wisconsin.  Temperatures in the 50's and the snow is melting quickly.  It's really starting to feel like the Easter season.  This weeks Repeat Impression's DCC challenge was chosen by Joy - Happy Easter.

For my Easter card, I used 3 Repeat Impressions images - 705-G Duckling, 3906-H Easter Blessings, & the ribbon border is 1502-L, Lace Ribbon Border.

The best part about a challenge is that you get to play along.   Create your Easter card, link that card to the RI blog and you will be entered into a random drawing for an unmounted sheet of RI images.  Wendy has quite an amazing selection to choose from.  Go here to see the complete rules.

Meljen's 4th Anniversary - Challenge #204 - Anniversary Image

Meljen's Designs is celebrating their 4th Anniversary so as a gift to US they are giving away this adorable digital image.  Grab it while you can because after this week, it goes into their shop for a price.  That super cute image is also the theme for this weeks challeng

Here is the card I created using this adorable image.

Not only did I use this anniversary image but I also used Meljen's "Sweet" Sentiment.  Seemed like the perfect sentiment for this card.

Here is a close up so you can see what a cute image this really is.

Have a super week!!!

We always have amazing sponsors for our challenges and here are this weeks wonderful sponsors:
A huge thank you to those amazing sponsors!!

*************

The cute image on my first card is from Doodle Pantry - Critter Toppers.  Isn't this little chicky adorable.  I used the chalk board look we've all been seeing so much of and I think it worked out perfectly for this Mother's Day card.

**************

For my 2nd card, the image I used is from A Day For Daisies - Mama's Hug.  How sweet is that?   What mama wouldn't love a card with that image on it?

Now its your turn to play along.  Create a Mother's Day card from a kids point of view.  Link that card to the SAS4K blog and you will be entered into a random drawing where you could win one of those amazing prizes from our sponsors.  Don't forget - SAS4K also selects a top 3 which is a huge honor and gives you a badge you can proudly add to your blog.  You can see a complete list of rules here.

What If? Wednesay - Sketch A0214

It's What If? Wednesday at Repeat Impressions and Wendy has an amazing sketch for us.

For my card, I used several Repeat Impressions images.  All 3 are from the Pairings series; the focal point is 9301-P, Happy Bees (I didn't use the full image this time),  the small bees are 9308-C, Bee, and the sentiment is 9317-E, Buzzillion.  This is a long card - would fit in a business sized envelope - and I couldn't get a clear shot but the yellow strip around the small bees is popped for lots of dimension.

So now it is your turn.  Create your card inspired by this weeks sketch, link your card to the RI blog and you will be entered into a random drawing for an awesome prize - a $25 gift certificate to the Repeat Impressions store.  You can see the complete rules here - at the Repeat Impressions blog
