Repeat Impression's - What If? Wednesday Sketch N2713

What if? Wednesday at Repeat Impressions means another awesome sketch.

For my card, I used RI image 802-K Moose Family Silhouette and the sentiment is also from RI - 3109-F My Heart

I love these images - no coloring necessary just accent them with the right patterned paper and embellishments and you have an awesome card.

We are heading into a wild week of Thanksgiving festivities and black Friday shopping.  When you need some down time away from the chaos, grab this sketch and create your own card.  Link that card on the RI blog and you will be entered in a drawing for an amazing prize - a $25 gift certificate to the Repeat Impressions store.  Go here to see the complete details.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and safe black Friday.

Meljen - Black Out

Things are getting busy around here but I wanted to take the time to play along with this weeks challenge at Meljen's Design.   Their challenge this week is Black Out - using a black card base. That's a  freebie for me. Lately black has been my 'go to' color.

Here's a close up of my card so you can see all the bling and that I popped the sentiment - also a Meljen image.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Repeat Impressions DCC - Giving Thanks

Today's RI DCC challenge was chosen by fellow repeat RockStar Deonna Bemish - Giving Thanks.  What a perfect challenge, so timely.

For my card, I used RI image is 211-P - Chickadee at Rest.  I love this image.  I've used it many times and you'll see me use it many times more.  The sentiment is also from RI - 3213-G - For the Beauty from the Thanksgiving series.

This card needed just a little something more, so I took some inspiration from a friend of mine.  She likes to use burlap on her cards and it always looks so cute.   I grabbed just a small square of fabric, gathered it in the middle and tied it with some twine.   So cute! Thanks PK for your inspiration.

It's time for you to express your thankfulness.  Create your own thankful card, link it on the RI blog, and you will be entered in a drawing for an amazing prize - one of those unmounted full sheets of images from Repeat Impressions.  Go here to see the complete details and to see the beautiful creations from the other RI RockStars

I am thankful that you stopped by.

Send A Smile 4 Kids - Anything Goes 4 Kids

It's SAS4K Saturday and we are having one of my favorite challenges - Anything Goes 4 Kids.  I love an Anything Goes challenge, especially this time of the year when we are all so wrapped up in holiday projects.

As with all SAS4K challenges, we have 3 amazing sponsors.
  1. Saturate Canary - is giving 2 digital images of the winners choice.
  2. Sassy Studios is awarding 4 digital images of the winners choice.
  3. Floppy Latte's is also giving 2 digital images of the winners choice.
Thank you to those wonderful sponsors!

I must still have a little bit of spooky in my system because my first card is actually a Halloween themed card but who can resist this adorable Mummy Honey image from Sassy Studios?  It is "anything goes".

The image on this 2nd card is also is a honey.  This is Saturated Canary's Honey image.  She's so adorable.   Reminds me of my nieces.

Now is your chance to take a break from all the holiday projects.  Create a card of any theme as long as it is 'kid' appropriate.  Link that card on the SAS4K's blog and you will be entered in a random drawing for those prizes from our amazing sponsors.  Don't forget, SAS4K also selects a 'top 3' so you may come away with a badge that you can proudly post on your blog.  Go here to see all the details.

SAS4K is also an amazing cause - giving greeting cards to kiddo residing in children's hospitals around the country.  Go here to see how you can help.

DCC - Snow Fun

It's DCC Wednesday at Repeat Impressions and this weeks challenge was selected by Melissa Cash - Snow Fun.  Unfortunately, here in Central Wisconsin, snow is all tooooooo close to the truth.  We generally don't have snow until mid November or later, but we've had some flurries in the air the last few weeks.  Nothing has accumulated, but after the long, never ending winter we had last year, its a little frightening to see flakes again.

I've decided to stick with the theme of the challenge - Snow Fun - and just go ahead and have fun with it.  For my card I used RI image The Original Snow Angel - 4706-G.  I just love that little snowman making his snow angel.  How cute is that? The sentiment fits this theme perfectly. It is RI Snow Much Fun - 8810-H

No matter if snow makes you happy or sad, take today to have fun with it.   Create your own snow fun card, link it on the RI blog and you will be entered into a drawing for an unmounted sheet of stamps from the RI store

Have a super Wednesday!

S.A.S.4K - Happy Holidays 4 Kids

Its Send A Smile 4 Kids Saturday and we have a fun theme for you this week - Happy Holidays 4 Kids.

We also have 3 amazing sponsors
  • Bugaboo - is giving one lucky winner 7 digi images of the winners choice
  • QKR Stampede is giving 5digi images of the winners choice
  • Scrapping Memories is giving 10 files of the winner's choice.

This image on my first card is from Scrapping Memories - Its called The Holiday Express Digi Stamp.  Santa is rolling in on the Holiday train.

I even have a close up of this one so you can see how I've popped it.  The background paper is a Kraft with glittery white polka dots.  I wish I knew what brand it was but unfortunately I don't know where I came across that.  For the background banners, I pulled out last years DCWV Christmas pack.

It's time for you to get in that holiday spirit.  Create a kid friendly holiday card, link it to the SAS4K blog and you will be entered in a drawing for those amazing prizes listed above.  Don't forget, SAS4K also selects a top 3 which is an awesome honor and you get a special badge to display on your blog.  See the complete rules here.
