Lady Anne's Progressive Christmas Challenge #6

The weather has been very warm & humid here in Central Wisconsin, so it has been kind of strange to create Christmas cards but I was able to complete my cards for Lady Anne's Progressive Christmas Challenge.  These adorable stamps this month were supplied by DS4J (Digi Stamps 4 Joy).

Here is my 1st card - I love the classy, simplicity of this image.  All it takes is a little touch of color to create a very beautiful focal point.  I used just one Copic marker on the globe of this Christmas bulb.  I matted this image with shiny gold paper and then attached it to a background paper that is gold with red flocking.  The flocking very nearly matches the swirls on the Christmas bulb.

Here is my 2nd card.   This image reminds me of Christmas decorations from when I was a child - those classic, cozy holiday decorations.  The background paper on this card is a dark green vellum with glittery flourishes running through it.

It certainly has been fun playing along with this progressive challenge.  I've enjoyed playing along with this challenge and very much appreciate the free images I have received each month.

Thanks so much for stopping by
Joyce
