Has it really been a month since I've posted? No way, it feels like just yesterday.
As always, its been a busy, busy month. I've really shifted gears this month and have put my paper products aside to do some crocheting. I haven't crocheted in years. In fact, several years ago, I sold much of my yarn stash in a garage sale. I didn't think that I'd ever crochet again.
Last fall, I was at a local Creative Escape and one of my new friends was crocheting the most amazing hats. I was totally inspired. I've been watching the incredible crochet projects on Pinterest and just couldn't resist. I pulled out some yarn and went at it. I had to get some refreshing on a few of the terms, but I was amazed at how much I actually remember.
This is my latest project - a fleece afghan with a crochet edge. Sooooo fun to make. I can see myself spending more time crocheting but I haven't turned my back on my paper crafts either. : ) I will get back to that soon enough.
My husband and I are retired and I do crafts as we travel. It might be card making, it might be crocheting, or any number of projects
