It's a Repeat Impressions Blog Hop -

It's a huge day for me!  I have two blog posts today.  If your looking for my Meljen's Design's post, you will see it below, just scroll down.  If your here for the Repeat Impressions blog hop, Welcome!!! I'm glad your here.

Wendy at Repeat Impressions really has her creative juices flowing.  You may remember we had a blog hop in May for her new Wine Time series.  Last month we had a blog hop for the new  Bottoms Up!!! series.   Today we are unveiling the new Contain Yourself series.

What an amazing collection of containers.  These images are available individually or by the full unmounted sheet.

I made 2 cards using images from this great news series.  For my first card, I used several images. That fish bowl is image 9712-Q Fish Bowl.  That fun fish is 9716-H Fish Face.  The stream of bubbles is called 9713-E Bubbles and the sweet sentiment is 9720-C Big Wishes.

I just love this fish.  This is the perfect type of image to add dimension to.  Color the image on a base piece of card stock, then stamp it again on a small, scrap of card stock.  Color that 2nd image and cut out the portion that you want to use to create dimension.  Use foam tape and sandwich directly over that first, base image.  Super simple and a great way to make a card special.

For my second card I tried some other images from this new series.  That great jar is called 9705-M Jar.  That lovely bundle of wild flowers is 9706-U Flowers and that sweet sentiment is 9711-E, I Love You....

Repeat Impressions Blog Hop - Series 9600 Bottoms Up!!!

You may remember we had a blog hop last month for her new Wine Time series.  Today we are unveiling another new series - Bottoms Up!!!

Being from Central Wisconsin, I can tell you right now, I will be using the beer mug & beer sentiments a LOT!!!

For today's card, I went with the 9606-K margarita glass with the 9612 -F Citrus Slice. I wanted a fresh, summer look so this bright print paper fit perfectly.  I popped the glass to mimic the curve of a real drinking class and I also popped the lemon slice.

Repeat Impressions Blog Hop - Wine Time

It's a Repeat Impressions Blog Hop

I am here with a special post to let you know that Repeat Impressions is releasing a new series of images – Wine Time.   What a perfect series for the times – everyone I know is talking about wine, decorating with wine in mind and admiring the beautiful bottle it comes in.  This new series covers all of that.

Here is a card I created using this amazing new series.  The stamps I used are 9501 – the wind bottle, 9506 – the wine cork, 9514 – the cluster of grapes is heat embossed on the wine bottle & the sentiment is 9515.

Here's a close up to show you some of the dimension on this card.

So, here is the most exciting part of the blog hop.  We have a fun little word game for you.   Just hop over and visit the blog of each of the Repeat Impression's Rock Stars.  At each blog, you will be given a letter.  Once you have collected all the letters (9 of them), spell out the special mystery word, e-mail that word to wendy@repeatimpressions.com   You will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win that whole series of Wine Time.

The lucky winner will be announced on Tuesday, May 6th on the Repeat Impressions blog.

The letter you'll be collecting from me is the letter "L".  Go here to see the complete rules.

Don't forget to visit the blogs of all the RI Rock Stars.  See all the amazing cards they have created but also to grab those letters needed to spell the secret word.  Here's a link to each of the Rock Stars blogs - It doesn't matter what order you take but just be sure to stop at all of them to get the letters needed for the mystery word. Be sure to e-mail that word to Wendy at wendy@repeatimpressions.com
